Phnom Penh Cycling To Laos Border- 3 Days

Posted by

This is a great cycling of activity for those who ride regularly. We take a ride past the old road to Laos border and with a few pedal strokes we are in the open spaces among rice fields and villages. We ride on small trails and back-roads with friendly people waving to us as we go. If you have a reasonable level of fitness and do some occasional riding, then this ride should be perfectly achievable and enjoyable. The distance is approximately from 80km each day on mainly flat tracks and small roads.

Day 1 : Phnom Penh – Kampong Cham (78km) (  L , D )
After breakfast at your hotel and transfer 40 minutes to avoid the busy part of Phnom Penh. Start cycling from Roka Kong to follow the Mekong River. We stop for lunch at Peam Chikong. Late afternoon, we arrive in Kampong Cham, wander around to see the town (optional biking to the nearby Koh Pen island). Situated on the Mekong river, Kampong Cham has a great benefit of the delta to do the farming. Dinner and overnight in Kampong Cham.
